The staff absolutely ruined our overall experience. The park is gorgeous. My husband & I felt so relieved when we 1st got there. We needed a time out of the hustle bustle of everyday craziness. We felt so connected to each other & the pure & simple nature was such a very needed calmness for us! We were unaware that because we were "tent" campers, we could only stay for 4 days!!!! If you have an RV you can stay for a month! Very prejudice in my opinion. They told us it was because a lot of homeless people try to "camp out" there. Why? That's very discriminatory in my opinion & HOMELESSNESS DOESN'T DISCRIMINATE, so why are they? We camped for 2weeks. The ranger, Josh, & his sidekick I guess finally got up the gumption to approach, of course, WHILE IT WAS JUST ME AT THE CAMPSITE!! Gave us until the next morning at 9:00am to vacate the premises & threatened with "the law will be involved if you are still here at 9" I mean really was that all necessary? Beautiful park. All the campers we talked to were super friendly. The amenities were clean & functional. The only problem was the people in charge. And to the sidekick, I never try to avoid you! I didn't know who you were or your role there, just saying buddy.... So overall if you are cool enough to have an RV, SUPER. But if not, it ain't worth the hassle or drama.

Biked the wide dirt packed trails. The trails were mostly shaded with benches, picnic tables, facilities (bathrooms, vending machines) and lake views. Uncrowded this nice Autumn morning. Yet all the leaves were cleared from the trail making it easier to spot the rocks and many roots. Decent signage and a few mileage markets. Oddly, the trail names were only on one sign, so depending on your direction you may or may not be able to read it. Maps were posted and available at the entrance. Plenty of parking. No park or trail fee. Fun ride of about 5 miles for one loop. Paved park road available for biking, too

It was my first time ever going to this place. I didn’t get a chance to look around, but there is a lot to do for yourself and your kids. I went to the pool. The pool was awesome. They do have a slide and they have a kitty slide with the little babies, it’s a pretty awesome place highly recommend it if you have kids or couple and you just wanna go. I believe they have trails like I said I didn’t get a chance to look at everything enjoyed the pool.

My daughters love this park. I've been coming here since my now 18yr old was little. Now, it's my 7yr old's favorite place to go play.

I love going to this park. The trails are beautiful. The playgrounds are always filled with laughter, and when the weather is hott, the pool is a fun place to cool down. I've been going here for years, and I love being able to be outdoors, and seeing all the beauty that Pleasant Garden has to offer.
